Mosurock's got some of the crankiest (but also honest) ears you'll find in music writing, and so the fact that Cold Cave's scrappy, heartbreaking mix of lo-fi synth buzz and New Romantic guitars won him over should speak volumes. Those of you who follow Adam Freeland on Twitter know about this already, but the rest of you are in for a surprise:

As most of you know, the Black Eyed Peas have grown from a mildly funky old school-repping hip hop group into an unapologetic dance-rap outfit. Their most recent album, The E.N.D., features production by Boys Noize, and most of it sounds like it belongs on super-club speakers. But it turns out Will.i.am, who's turned into a fairly in-demand producer lately, hasn't just been cribbing ideas from other artists; he's been stealing them. After getting into trouble earlier in the year for ripping off Daft Punk, dude is about to get in some deep shit for lifting Freeland's "Mancry", pretty much in its entirety, and using it for his group's new single,"Party All the Time".
